  • This resource was designed to help log information during voice exercises using a sound level meter. There are 5 “trial” columns to compare information over multiple treatment sessions to help with reporting (progress note, daily note.) The “sustained vowel” chart has two variations. One includes a “time” reporting section to record duration of voicing. I like to target time as well when introducing respiratory techniques (diaphragmatic breathing, posture, etc.) to support vocalizations.
  • There are two charts for each level included. An “average” row was included on one of the charts to provided additional information and data.
  • I use a sound level meter, but there are also great apps that you can use if you have an ipad/phone. A picture of the meter I use is shown below.
